During two years (October 2013 – October 2015) I have spent many Fridays, Saturdays and other party nights standing on the bridge between Stockholm’s metro stations Slussen and Gamla stan. With a tele lens I have captured people passing by in the subway.
I want this project to be about humans and everyday situations that show pride and dignity, not to make fun of people. When I started to photograph I was hit by the fact that most people on the subway finger on and look at their phones, laptops and pads. This reality does not interest me. Among 100 000 exposures I have traced the exceptions, that represent everyday life as I want to show it.
